COVID 19 UPDATE – SUNDAY 27TH MARCH

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.  Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.  (Matthew 6:33-34)

In keeping with the elders’ previous decision to operate without the requirement of vaccination passes we will continue to allow a maximum of 25 persons in any given space, plus those serving or on duty.

After most restrictions are lifted on 11.59pm on April 4, we will be able to gather as a group of up to 200 people, plus those serving. Please stay tuned for further notice about this.

As Covid-19 continues to spread in our community, please monitor any symptoms.

There are a number in our church family currently isolating so only three spaces—the Auditorium, the Hall and the House Next Door—will be open for worship this Sunday.

Kid Zone is postponed but Bible Class will resume (depending on who gathers in the Auditorium).

We ask everyone to continue to take all practical precautions to mitigate the risk of catching and spreading the virus, including:

  • Contact tracing (“signing in” at the door using the NZ COVID-Tracer app or by writing your details in the COV contact tracing register)
  • Wearing of masks is recommended but not mandatory
  • The use of hand sanitiser provided in various locations within the church building
  • Respect other people’s space.
  • Always erring on the side of caution, if you have cold or flu symptoms, or feel unusually fatigued, please stay home (call your doctor or Healthline and get tested)
As always, the service will be live streamed using the link below. The link can also be found on the front page of the CoV website.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding.  Please continue to pray for the elders and pastors as they navigate the COVID mandates.

Blessings to you all!
