Lenore Heap runs the church on Vogel community play group. The play group has been operating as a free service to the community since 1991 with some funding being received from the Early Childhood Education Unit. It runs out of a purpose built facility at the rear of the church with a large grass field and playgrounds. Our philosophy is guided by Christian principles. We firmly believe that children and their caregivers are Very Important People who deserve to be treated with warmth and respect.

What we offer:

• Play, Play, Play! playdough, puzzles, books, painting, pasting, crayons, sandpit, music, zoom slide ride-on bikes, cars, waterplay, balls, blocks and toys, swings, baby area. Morning tea (a contribution of food or donation of money is expected)
• Structured Mat-Time with songs, celebrations, fingerplays and dance.
• Special ‘3-ups’ programme. This is an optional 20 minute supervised session where over-3yr olds are introduced to more educationally challenging play resources.
