The ‘Knowing God’ Winter Bible School was held at Church on Vogel from Sunday, 2 July, 2017 – Sunday, 6 August, 2017 and consisted of six individual study sessions which were recorded and can be accessed at the bottom of this page.
Brief Description
‘Knowing God’ is the core of the Christian life. In John 17:3 we read that eternal life is to know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. In this study series we will discuss thoughts such as how we come to know God, what it means to know God, and look into what the purpose of knowing God is. We will also take significant time to think deeply upon who God is as He has revealed Himself in Jesus Christ.
Speaker – Daniel Schwamm
Daniel lives in Palmerston North with his wife, Lizy, and has been fellowshipping as a member at Church on Vogel since 2015. Daniel is passionate about preaching and teaching the word of God and also about making disciples to see all believers grow to maturity in the faith. Prior to coming to Church of Vogel, Daniel completed his Undergraduate studies at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL, where he gained his Bachelor of Arts (Biblical Exposition). Daniel majored in expository preaching and also studied the biblical languages, specifically Greek for two years, while also completing a diverse range of other biblical and theological studies in his four year programme. Daniel also studied in New Zealand at Pathways Bible College and served with OAC Ministries during the early years of his Christian walk.
